A practice piece I did because this was the first oil painting class I've had in my life and I sucked pretty bad at it so it was a piece I worked on to try and get past the learning curve of the medium and subject.

One of our assignments. I wanted to be more experimental with the composition and do something different from the usual things we did in class. That and also because I'm not really pursuing a career in fine arts per say and was wondering if I could do something closer to what I usually do but with the medium at hand.
Another assignment piece. I'm actually not fond of my handling of the skin but I like my handling on other aspects of this painting. When I get more time I'll work more on my oil paintings. I still have a lot further to go.Overall, not bad for my first oil painting class I think. I had lots of help and critique from other people. I'm grateful for everyone who critiqued (Jun, YunnTsung, Gue, Robert, Zhao Ming etc) and being patient with my questions.
